Join us this weekend for more great theater at the BIC Center as the BICS Drama Class presents Parents Just Don’t Understand. The show is a collection of hilarious (and often too close to the truth) scenes that all families will relate to–a “greatest hit list” of classic family moments. Remember when Dad tried to teach you to drive? Or Mom decided that she would help pick out your wardrobe? How about those family vacations when you were stuck in the backseat for hours on end with your annoying sibling, headed for a camping trip in the middle of nowhere? Showtime is 7:00 p.m. on Friday and, if the 4th & 5th Grade play is a predictor, it’ll be a sellout. Tickets are just $5 (students are free) and are available ONLY at the BIC Center and only starting at 6:30 p.m. on the day of the show. So be early to get your seat.
Also on Saturday afternoon on the big screen in the Robert Gillespie Memorial Theater at the BIC Center you can see Peter Rabbit. And you’ll see him like you’ve never seen (or imagined) him before. It’s at 3pm at the BIC Center. As always for movies at the BIC Center, free-will donation for admission ($5, students free) and popcorn, treats and fountain pop at the concession stand.
Coming up on June 9, the BIC Center will host the BICS graduation ceremony. Join us at 1:00 to celebrate the class of 2018.
Our computer guru is back for the summer to help you with your computer woes. “Dr.” Pat Bonadeo is in every Tuesday seeing patients from 10 until noon. And our regular events all continue with the Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program on Tuesdays and Thursday from 10 to 11 and Games Galore on Thursdays at 4.
Looking out into June, coming up on June 14 the BIC Center has its first concert of the summer season. Kennedy’s Kitchen will be here. The show is at 8. Tickets are $25, $10 for students, and they are available at the BIC Center front desk.
