Thank you to everyone who participated in the PABI Road Rally. It was a great turnout. 43 people made up the eight teams. Maeve Green and her team of Mighty Men won bragging rights as this year’s winners of the rally. Congratulations!!!  As is tradition, they will plan the rally and quizzes for next year.  Start studying those History of Beaver Island volumes now so you are prepared!

We have two great movies this weekend.  At 3:00 p.m. on Saturday stop by to keep track of the latest adventures of Paddington Bear in Paddington 2.  It’s rated PG. He’s going to get in trouble. At 7:00 p.m. the multiple award-winning Lady Bird will be on the big screen in the Robert Gillespie Memorial Theater.  It’s rated R.  And Lady Bird gets in even more trouble than Paddington. Both shows have free-will donation admission (students free) and, as always, tasty treats and drinks will be available at the concession stand.

Next on the stage is the annual BICS 4th & 5th grade play. This year our young thespians bring you Born to Be Wild.  What do animals think about?  This show has the answers.  Raffle prizes will be awarded (come early to see the prizes).  Laughs & giggles will be had.  Animals will run wild.  And all proceeds will go towards supporting the 4th & 5th Grade Class Trip to Camp Hayo-Went-Ha!

All week there are activities at the BIC Center.  Exercise sessions, board games, pool. movies on the TV in the hangout and more.  And, coming next we have a Superpower Film Weekend. Check below or the Community Calendar for details.
