The first play of our 10th Anniversary Season takes to the stage April 28th at 7PM and April 29 at 2PM.  It’s The Odd Couple (the Female Version) starring Laura Green and Becca Foli as the Odd Couple with Bryan Foli, Nick DeLaat, Vicki Smith, and Heidi Vigil, Marie Boyle and Elaine West all under the direction of retired CMU Theater Professor Stan Jensen. Tickets are $13 for adults and $8 for students.  (Note that this play isn’t designed for children under 13.) Come see many of your friends and neighbors in this hilarious version of the Odd Couple produced by long-time Beaver Island Players organizer and director Jacque LaFreniere.

Next on the stage is the annual BICS 4th & 5th grade play. Ever wonder why your cat acts like he’s king of the world? Or why flamingos stand on one leg? Have you ever imagined what a spider would have to say to a fly just before devouring him, or what “small talk” sounds like when a cannibalistic female praying mantis goes on a date with a naive male praying mantis?  You’ll get answers to these question and more in Born to Be Wild.  Raffle prizes will be awarded (come early to see them).  Laughs & giggles will be had.  Animals will run wild.  And all proceeds will go towards supporting the 4th & 5th Grade Class Trip to Camp Hayo-Went-Ha!

Also coming up soon is the 16th Annual PABI Road Rally.  The fun starts Sunday, May 5th 12:30pm at the Shamrock!  A full afternoon of thrills, chills, challenges, and all out competitive fun! Registration is $20 per person. Start forming your team now and get ready to compete for the prestigious Road Rally Cup.

And, coming to our big screen this weekend: Rock Dog at 3PM and Star Wars-The Last Jedi at 7PM.  Great treats at our concession stand.  Free will donation admission. No charge for students.
