Inside Scoop on The Outside Track
Summer is winding down, but events at the BIC Center just keep on coming. This Saturday at 8:00 p.m. the world renowned Celtic band The Outside Track will take to the stage in Ray & Ann Stanhope Theater at the BIC Center for an outstanding evening of music. Stop by the information desk at the BIC Center or call 448-2022 to get your tickets. Then on Sunday, join WVBI’s Phil Becker for a live broadcast of Sunday Night Oldies from the playground beach as part of the Classic Car Show and End of Season Beach Party. During the week stop by for a computer workshop on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to noon and for Games Galore on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Then, next weekend, movies are back with Born in China and Gifted.

What’s at the BIC Center?
The Welcome Center
The front room of our first floor is a Welcome Center. It is a great place to get information, grab a snack, connect to Wi-Fi and kick off your island adventure. It’s also home to the office of the Island’s Chamber of Commerce.
BIC Center Theater
The BIC Center Theater is the premier performance space on the island hosting music of all genres, dance, theater productions, movies, seminars and community meetings. Check here for complete information on upcoming events.
The Hangout
Our Hangout upstairs offers an informal gathering place for meetings, reading, pool, board games, video games, TV, using our community PCs and printer, and … just hanging out. Also there are studios for the community’s radio station…our very own WVBI-The Voice of Beaver Island.
